Job Description
Join the Town of Caledon’s Recreation Team as a Lifeguard or Swimming Instructor. Help foster a safe aquatic environment while enhancing the skills of participants.
The Town of Caledon offers dynamic roles for individuals passionate about aquatics. As a Lifeguard, you will ensure safe swimming conditions, whereas Instructor roles focus on teaching and developing swimmers. Both positions require certifications and the ability to communicate effectively with participants and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety during public swim sessions
• Prepare lesson outlines and teaching materials
• Provide instruction at various skill levels
• Conduct maintenance for facility cleanliness
• Complete reports on attendance and incidents
Requirements:
• National Lifeguard certification or relevant instructor qualification
• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills with a focus on detail
