System Engineer II (Electrical/Control)

Responsibilities

• Design control system and low voltage electrical enclosures.
• Create, select, and maintain components in design tools and with suppliers.
• Work with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype and production builds.
• Develop test cases and calculations for electrical safety testing of the product.
• Coordinate CE/UL testing of the product.
• Ensure that design solutions meet standards for quality, reliability, cost, and delivery time.
• Create, collect, maintain, and review item documentation (ELCAD drawings, specifications, bills of material).
• Work in a structured company using a PLM system to create items and manage revisions.
• Apply Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) to optimize product value by reducing costs while maintaining or enhancing quality, functionality, and performance.
