System Support Engineer

Market Securities is expanding its Madrid office and is seeking a System & Support Engineer to join the IT team. This is a hybrid role combining hands‑on infrastructure management with end‑user support, designed to serve as the primary IT resource for the Madrid office while contributing to the firm’s global IT operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a reliable and secure IT environment in Madrid, supporting local staff on a daily basis, and collaborating closely with the central IT team to ensure consistency across all Market Securities offices worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems

• Manage and maintain the local server environment, including Windows Server 2019/2022 and virtualisation platforms (VMware ESXi / vCenter).
• Oversee storage systems, Veeam backup and replication, and ensure business continuity through regular recovery testing.
