Systems Infrastructure DevOps Specialist (Calgary)

Join a full time position as a Systems Infrastructure and DevOps Specialist focused on research storage with opportunities for overtime in critical environments.

Reporting to the Team Lead of Infrastructure Services, you will administer enterprise storage platforms and drive automation using IaC tools like Terraform and PowerShell. This role requires managing storage systems such as NetApp and Dell/EMC, while also supporting cloud environments including AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise storage platforms like SAN/NAS
• Automate deployments and configurations using Infrastructure as Code
• Monitor and address storage capacity and performance issues
• Collaborate with server teams for VMware and Hyper-V support
• Implement and manage data protection solutions and disaster recovery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
