PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Focuses on integrating applications in Linux-based environments Works with NIWC stakeholders, development and support teams to ensure the platforms are integrated, available, up-to-date, and provide support for comprehensive (both automated and manual) software testing, and supporting Agile best practices. Provisions Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments Integrates a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open source applications within Linux environments Installs, executes and troubleshoots containerized applications Troubleshoots quickly and efficiently in Linux-based environments Researches and recommends innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks
