Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive tax professional to support the Company’s Canadian and U.S. tax compliance and reporting requirements. This role contributes to the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, SR&ED claims, and government remittances, while ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance and timely submissions. The successful candidate will work with the accounting team, external advisors, and the executive team to support accurate financial reporting, tax audits, regulatory research, and day-to-day accounting operations and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Complete the preparation of the Company’s Canadian corporate tax returns, including leading the preparation and review of annual SR&ED filings
- Prepare calculations and working paper schedules to support tax returns
