Job Description
As our Senior Tax Accountant , you will join our highly skilled Finance Team based in Manila. As such, you will take accountability for monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax compliance throughout the Asia region. You will also be working closely with Automatic Remittance Processing, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Accountants, to ensure appropriate tax postings are reconciled.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparation and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, as well as ensuring tax reporting is completed in a timely manner to avoid tax penalties
- Developing and maintaining tax data collection, analysis, and reconciliation systems, including monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Tax Schedules
- Supervising tax audits with various taxation authorities, external auditors and lawyers
- Proactively advising management regarding the tax impact of corporate strategies and new tax laws
