Responsibilities

Following the successful promotion of the current postholder, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced specialist teacher to contribute to the success of the Autism Outreach Team by joining the team as a Senior Teacher. The Autism Outreach Team is a well-regarded and welcoming team that works with mainstream education settings across Leicestershire to support positive outcomes for autistic pupils in Key Stages 1‑5. The role involves leading on specific areas of work, providing effective performance management within the team, and deputising for the Team Manager as appropriate. You will have a caseload responsibility focused on enabling schools to implement a range of teaching and learning strategies to support the progress and inclusion of pupils with a diagnosis of autism or communication and interaction needs.
