Position Overview:The Teacher is responsible for teaching a variety of subjects across multiple grade levels, fostering academic growth and critical thinking in students. Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with provincial standards, promote an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, and incorporate First Nations culture and perspectives. The teacher supports students' individual learning needs, collaborates with families and community members, and participates in extracurricular activities to enhance the overall educational experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Instruction and Curriculum Prepare and present course material to students following an approved curriculum. Teach core subjects and electives, ensuring cultural relevance. Collaborate with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community members to incorporate Indigenous ways of learning.
