Job Description

European School Copenhagen is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Danish as a first language for our Secondary department (6.–9. Grade).

This is a full-time permanent position, starting on 1st September 2026.
We expect that you
have the appropriate teaching qualifications to teach Danish in Secondary (Folkeskolen's 6.–9. Klasse)
have experience teaching Danish at Secondary level
are native in Danish and have a good command of English, as English is our working language at the school
have a strong focus on students' learning and wellbeing in accordance with the school's values
have a desire to contribute to the ongoing development of the school
enjoy collaborating with international colleagues on learning and development
are independent and able to navigate a dynamic working environment
possess strong social and communication skills
