Teaching Assistant
Location: Dunn Street Primary, Minster Parade, Jarrow, Tyne and Wear, NE32 3QH.
Contract Type: Permanent.
Working Pattern: Term time only – 37 hours per week.
Advert End Date: Wednesday, 17th June 2026.
Salary: Grade D, Scale points 5-6. Actual salary: £21,907 to £22,254.
Position start: Required for September 2026.
About the Role
Tyne and Wear Learning Trust is seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing, inclusive and ambitious school, Dunn Street Primary. Applicants for the post must be motivated and suitably qualified (at least NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent) and must have a good understanding of primary education.
