Tier I Teaching Assistant – O’Rourke Middle School 2026-2027 School Year
The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking dedicated, student-centered Teaching Assistants to support the academic, social, and behavioral needs of students at the Middle School. Teaching Assistants work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to help create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success.
Positions Available:
+ 1 Teaching Assistant – 5.5 hours/day
Responsibilities Include:
+ Assisting teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
+ Providing academic and behavioral support to individual students and small groups.
+ Supporting the implementation of student accommodations and modifications as directed.
+ Assisting with supervision during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, study halls, and other school functions as assigned.
