Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform duties related to preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.
* Monitor equipment pressures and flow rates.
* Monitor boiler performance, water, and air quality.
* Maintain PM logs.
* Perform general maintenance on the facility, including welding, sanitary, and structural.
* Troubleshoot production equipment.
* Keep Management informed of potential issues.
* Maintain sanitation log records and timeliness.
* Certified to drive the forklift.
* Must follow all LOTO, PRCS, and all safety procedures.
* Work with external vendors and contractors on facility projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 2-3 years’ previous maintenance experience or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
