Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilizes work orders, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements.
- Be able to read and understand technical drawings.
- Generate quotes for customers.
- Advise Customers of Suitable Materials for Projects and Request.
- Understanding the process of sheet metal bending and advising the customer of modifications required to fall within our bending limits.
- Understand and know how to use 2D CAD.
- Liaising with customers to ensure drawings are correct and suitable for manufacturing.
- Process customer drawing requirements as quickly and as accurately as possible.
- Program and maintain current file revisions of all clients parts.
- Consult with management and fellow employees to resolve manufacturing problems.
- Handling of all paperwork. (Customer Drawings, Quotes, purchase orders, filling, etc)
