Technical Submittal Engineer - Metal Doors & Fire-Rated Doors

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit technical submittals, material approval requests, MAR and compliance statements in accordance with project specifications.

Review contract documents, specifications, door schedules and consultant requirements. Prepare technical comparison sheets and product compliance reports.

Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approvals and address technical comments. Follow up on submittal approvals and maintain submission logs and records.

Coordinate with drafting teams for preparation and submission of shop drawings. Review shop drawings to ensure compliance with approved specifications and project requirements. Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain product data sheets, certifications, test reports and technical documentation.

Ensure compliance with Civil Defense requirements and fire‑rated door standards. Maintain records of fire test certificates, approvals and product certifications.
