Job Description

The Technician - Gastroenterology Lab provides support for physicians and registered nurses throughout endoscopy procedures by preparing, providing and caring for instruments and equipment, obtaining specimens, and maintaining a sterile field.
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of gastroenterology procedures and equipment.
Performs all responsibilities/duties required as defined in the scope of service, to ensure that the unique nature of the client is addressed.
Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure. Pursues professional growth and development.
Maintains supplies/inventory for department.
Performs all responsibilities/duties required by the Gastroenterology Lab as defined in the scope of service to ensure that the unique nature of the client is addressed.

Minimum Education
 
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
