Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, perform preventative maintenance programs, emergency repairs, maintenance work orders and Environment of Care (EOC) & Life Safety (LS) rounds. The ultimate goal of this position is to keep facility and surrounding campus in Constant Survey Readiness. Will be assigned duties based on primary geographical location. Some positions may not require driving a Denver Health vehicle. In those situations, an MVR is not required.

Essential Functions:

Daily EOC and LS walks in assigned areas to identify areas of improvement. (20%)

Affect repairs to ensure assigned area meets EOC and LS standards. (10%)

Perform a variety of routine and emergency repairs and preventative maintenance to hospital buildings, community clinics, equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and grounds, keeping all areas in proper condition as directed. (10%)
