Position

First Stage Researcher (R1) Positions at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) – BarcelonaTECH Research. Full‑time (35 h/week), located in Barcelona, Spain, starting 13 Jul 2026 until 31 Dec 2026.

Mission

Contribute to the development of manufacturing processes and ensure the availability, reliability and performance of critical equipment dedicated to semiconductor technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the spin coating process of quantum dots for the manufacture of photodiodes on 200 mm wafers.
• Support the installation, connection, qualification and commissioning of new equipment in collaboration with suppliers and engineering teams.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gloveboxes, spin coaters, wet chemistry systems, chemical supply systems, pumps and high‑vacuum deposition equipment.
