Job Description
Job Summary:The Teller/New Accounts role is responsible for assisting customers with financial transactions including paying out and receiving cash, opening and closing accounts and issuing negotiable instruments.
Other responsibilities include answering customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and servicing ATMs.
The incumbent will provide excellent customer service and promote long-term customer relationships.
Hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00am until 4:30pm and Saturday 8:00am until 10:30am.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Assist customers with daily banking transactions including cashing checks, deposits, transferring funds, non-negotiable instruments and loan payments.
Answer phone calls and assist or transfer customers as needed.
Sort and distribute mail.
Balance cash drawer on a daily basis and keep off ages to a minimum.
Balance the vault as assigned.
Open and close accounts including checking, savings and certificates o...
