Temporary Adventure Guide - WVU Jackson's Mill

Description WVU Jackson's Mill is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Adventure Guide. The WVU Jackson's Mill Adventure Guides is a seasonal temporary position for the summer camping season. The main term of employment will go from mid-May to mid-August. During this time, the Adventure Guides will be assisting the Program Coordinator of Outdoor Education and Recreation with outdoor programing for the variety of camps and groups that use WVU Jackson's Mill for their programs. They will also assist other programmatic and non-programmatic areas of WVU Jackson's Mill on an as needed basis. The Adventure Guides will also serve as overnight staff for some of these groups, providing supervision for the campers in their cabins. As such, all Adventure guides will have to go through the Children on Campus vetting process, including Title IX training, Child Protection training, and background check.
