(Temporary) Housekeeper/Custodian

Join Our Team as a Housekeeper/Custodian!

Our public garden thrives because of the people who care for it behind the scenes. We are looking for a dependable part-time Housekeeper/Custodian to help keep our spaces clean, safe and guest-ready while enjoying a flexible work schedule. This is a temporary position in accordance with State of North Carolina policies and is eligible for up to 24 months of employment.

Pay is $18 - per hour, depending on experience.

This position will work four days a week. The schedule is flexible with shifts available from 9 am to 5 pm, any day of the week. The schedule will rotate and can include some weekend shifts.

There are no state benefits with positions considered “temporary”; however, employees do receive an employee discount, health and wellness discounts and may be eligible for healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act based on hours worked.
