Job Description
EDUCATION: Matric/ N4/ Qualified Artisan
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 Years experience in the mechanical Workshop, Test bay or Industrial Environment
REQUIREMENTS: N2/N3 Mechanical Engineering-Advantage
Basic Safety Training (LOTO, PPE, Induction)
Hydraulic or Fluid dynamics – Advantage
Exposure to pumps, motor or rotating equipment
Key Accountabilities Test Preparation Identify and select the correct test procedure, instrumentation, and configuration as per the pump specification sheet and testing schedule. Verify calibration status of all measuring devices before each test run. Testing Execution Follow the approved test procedure, standard, and client specifications (e.g., ISO 9906, API 610, or company-specific standards). Start and control pump operation from the Test Control Panel. Conduct performance tests at incremental flow points (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
