Job Description
What you will do
Under general direction and in conformance with company policy, maintains the necessary inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and tools to support production needs and maintenance operations. Purchases and controls indirect materials, supplies, equipment, parts, tools and services, as needed in the manufacture of battery products and associated operations. Ensures all tools required for production meet the organization's quality standards and calibration specifications.
How you will do it- Supervises tool crib to provide a safe working environment. Makes safety the first priority and proactively seeks to improve safety practices.
- Ensures proper stock levels are maintained to meet manufacturing's requirements.
- Receives purchase requests and requisitions. Reviews them to confirm need, conformity to company policy and/or plant practice and completeness of identification or description.
