Job Description

The Tool Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving production tooling used in the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft interior components (, monuments, seats, galleys, bins, panels). This role supports production efficiency, quality, and safety by delivering reliable, cost-effective tooling solutions aligned with aerospace standards and program schedules.
Requirements
Design manufacturing and assembly tooling, fixtures, jigs, and gauges for aircraft interior components. 
Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software (, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks). 
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, production, quality, and program teams to define tooling requirements. 
Ensure tooling designs meet aerospace standards, safety requirements, and ergonomic considerations. 
Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and risk assessments related to tooling.
