Tool Maker

JSG is seeking a skilled Tool Maker for our client in Hicksville NY. This pivotal role involves designing, building, and troubleshooting tools and prototypes that uphold a commitment to quality and efficiency. This is a Direct Hire opening with our client.


Pay $30/hour



Required Skills

Minimum of 3 years of experience setting up and operating lathes, milling machines, and grinders

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches with precision

Proficient in using standard inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks

Strong shop math skills and a keen eye for detail

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Basic CNC experience is a plus
