Job Summary
What a typical day looks like:
Overall management and supervision of the daily work of the injection tooling department to ensure the safe and effective operation of the department.
Ensure all tools receive normal preventive maintenance to minimize down time.
Quote tooling for new NPI projects or duplicate tools of existing projects.
Review the DFM and provide comment and suggestion on the tooling point of view.
Review and approve the tooling design before steel cutting.
Responsible for technical guidance and problem solutions of new tooling.
Supervise of all tooling manufacturing machines, CNC, EDM, W-cut, Lathe and so on.
Supervise, train, and lead the tool room staff to produce quality molded products in a safe and productive manner.
