Tooling Technician

We are looking for a Tooling Technician to be based in Cheras.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily task assigned by superior, including machine operation, tool maintenance, service, repair and modification for existing tooling as assigned.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tooling machineries as required.
• Set‑up and operate all standard tool room equipment including milling, lathe, surface grinding machine, CNC/EDM/Wirecut machine, OGP, Measurement equipments etc.
• Follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Practice good housekeeping, 5S and safety is observed at workplace at all times.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the management or superior.

Requirements

• Preferably SPM and above or equivalent with 2 years of tooling manufacturing experience.
• Basic communication and written skill are needed.
