Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established international retail and ecommerce business to recruit an experienced Trade Compliance Lead. This is a key role responsible for overseeing all import/export compliance activities and bonded warehouse operations, ensuring goods move efficiently and compliantly through the global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage import/export compliance and customs activities
Oversee bonded warehouse operations and controls
Ensure accurate customs declarations, commodity codes, duties and VAT treatment
Liaise with HMRC, freight forwarders, customs brokers and courier partners
Maintain compliant, audit-ready documentation and records
Resolve customs-related issues and drive process improvements
Partner with operational and commercial teams across the business
