Job Description
OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-Time Trade Compliance Specialist, you will be a key player in executing Fastenal's import/export compliance program and facilitating the efficient entry of goods from overseas. You will be tasked with working directly with our Overseas Logistics and Accounts Payable teams when identifying products to be imported, ensuring accurate classification of goods, and filing appropriately to update legal and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with other global customs and logistics teams in achieving Fastenal's strategic global compliance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Working with U.S. Customs to clear Fastenal's Import product from around the globe
o Assisting management of Fastenal's trade lane RFQ process
