A Day in the Life
The primary function is to work with St. Louis and plant commercial managers on the position and risk management process, and to handle daily functions related to cash trading for both soybeans and soybean meal.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate and report changes to plant crush rates and yields on a weekly basis.
- Maintain various spreadsheets around inventory and cash positions for management.
- Under minimal supervision, merchandise soybean and soybean meal to maximize profitability of trading activities.
- Work closely with Commercial Managers and St. Louis trade teams to maintain and update futures positions.
