Traffic Management Operative – Basingstoke

Hours: 07:30 - 17:00
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Pay: £12.71 - £14.21 plus van and fuel card, bonus & standby
Overtime: Overtime paid after 9 hours Mon-Fri. Sat, Sun & callout are all paid at overtime rate
The Role
You may have seen the work of our traffic management business and our safety-conscious traffic management operatives, who are responsible for helping commuters travel safely through temporary roadworks. Traffic Management Operatives deliver, install, collect, exchange and maintain temporary traffic equipment (temporary traffic lights, signage, frames, sandbags and cones).
Responsibilities
- Checking equipment and systems are fit for use and fully operational
- Recording any damage
- Maintaining battery banks
