Operating heavy vehicles (such as lorries, tipper trucks, and cement mixers) to transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from project sites
Core Duties & Responsibilities Vehicle Operation:
Drive Class 4 heavy vehicles safely according to traffic laws and company policies. Transportation:
Deliver building materials (e.g., steel, earthworks) and safely transport construction workers to and from project sites or dormitories Loading & Unloading:
Manually or mechanically load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured safely to prevent damage during transit. Documentation:
Verify delivery items against invoices, purchase orders, and delivery orders. Update delivery apps, logbooks, and sign-offs accurately. Vehicle Maintenance:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (checking tires, fluids, and brakes) and report any mechanical faults immediately. Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the truck. Route Planning:
