Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Engineer /CAT A

Responsibilities
Assistance to AME on allocation of work on aircraft, engines and systems to mechanics and supervision for compliance with laid down quality control, airworthiness and safety procedures and that job is completed within the planned ground time.
To ensure the maintenance staff are physically and mentally fit to undertake the work and that they are not under the influence of psychoactive substances.
To lead the inspections and checks on aircraft as per approved maintenance program. To assist in the maintenance procedures and Quality system and certification of callouts for issuance.
Assistance in reporting of major defects, accidents and incidents in prescribed forms.
To check that only approved spare parts and materials with proper certificates are installed or used on aircraft.
To check usage of calibrated tools, tested equipment and current technical publications prior to start of maintenance.
