The trainee will assist in a solar forecasting project, energy storage test bedding, and process automation works within the Department.

• Assist in solar forecasting project to analyse accuracy of the solar forecast generated half hourly by comparing daily profile and reporting abnormalities of the data, and work on energy storage test bedding.
• Assist in automating processes relating to operations and daily BAU work to increase work efficiency:
  • Streamline information extraction and data analysis processes from Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Automate checking of information and data submitted by Licensees for database and display construction.
