Training Instructor (Riding Stables)

Summary This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Equestrian Center, JBSA Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. This postion is a regular part time position with 20 guaranteed hours per week. Employee will be scheduled as needed. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits. Responsibilities Works cooperatively with the Equestrian Center Manager to run the day to day operations of the Equestrian Program. The Instructor will coordinate and facilitate year round riding lessons and activities for children and adults with varyingabilities. The Instructor will work with the Center staff to develop new activities which would include holiday and weekend programs and MWR/FSS special events. Instruct participants in riding horses.
