• Transmission Design Engineer Location: Reno, NV Position Type: Contracted - 12 Months with Possible Extension Work Type: 100% On-Site with little site travel Pay Range: $75/-hr to $80/-hr on W2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides comprehensive civil/structural engineering design services for substation and/or transmission facilities, and ensures that these facilities are constructed on schedule and within committed resource allocations.


• Provides civil engineering expertise to develop substation/civil plans for sitework, including grading, off-site improvements, drainage facilities, fencing and block walls, and landscaping.
• In addition, completes calculations and prepares designs for substation steel structures, foundations, and control enclosures.
