About the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Transport Planner will collaborate with the planning team to manage and plan drivers, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies while delivering efficient service.
What you'll be doing:
Implement internal systems and processes from initial enquiry to invoicing.
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Plan vehicles to optimize efficiency, utilisation, and revenue.
Ensure compliance with road transport legislation and Health and Safety requirements.
Manage driver hours, start/ finish times, and route optimisation.
