Insight Global is seeking a Transportation Engineer to support roadway design projects across various stages of the project lifecycle. This individual will work within CAD platforms, with a preference for Bentley MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (Civil 3D experience is also acceptable with a willingness to learn ORD). The engineer will take ownership of assigned projects, develop design models and full plan sets, and collaborate closely with project managers and team members to align on scope, schedule, and deliverables. Responsibilities evolve based on experience level, ranging from mentorship and project leadership for more senior engineers to hands-on learning and development for those earlier in their careers.
Project work includes a diverse mix of VDOT and local municipality initiatives, such as roadway intersection improvements, corridor and streetscape enhancements, multi-use trail design (including large-scale efforts like a 15-mile trail project), pedestri...
