- Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images for physician use in diagnosis and treatment.
- Float among radiology clinics and divisions associated with Brigham & Women's Hospital as needed.
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring proper positioning and use of protective shielding.
- Explain exams to patients considering their physical and emotional needs.
- Maintain ethical standards including patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Calibrate and verify operation of equipment daily; report malfunctions.
- Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under radiologist direction.
- Attend staff meetings, in-services, and maintain CEUs per Massachusetts State Licensure and ARRT requirements.
