- In this position, the Nuc Med Technologist performs Nuclear Medicine procedures to obtain desired imaging results according to physician specifications.
- Responsibilities include transferring patients for examinations, assisting with the Nuclear Medicine examination process, operating Nuclear Medicine imaging and related equipment, educating and positioning patients, coordinating examinations to ensure timeliness and quality, submitting images and clinical information to Radiologists, evaluating image quality, communicating with patients and staff, utilizing and maintaining department supplies, practicing sterile technique and infection prevention, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines, safely performing procedures including patient transfer, preparing and administering radioisotopes according to protocol, following radiation safety measure...
