American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR/Cardiovascular OR position at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated hospital in Oak Lawn, IL, requiring scrub and circulate skills for adult and pediatric open-heart cases.
Job Details
• Work setting is a 794-bed, Level I Trauma Center with Magnet Designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center status, located approximately 45 minutes from Chicago,
• Unit is a 28-bed surgical suite with 2 hybrid rooms (CV/Vascular), averaging 60-75 cases per day,
• Patient population includes outpatient, inpatient, and trauma cases spanning general, GYN, urology, robotics, vascular, ortho, neuro, open hearts/CABGs, kidney and heart transplants, donor cases, and GSWs/stabbings,
• Hybrid rooms see 5-10 cases per day (adults only), including TAVR, AAA, endarterectomies, angiograms, and fistula revisions,
• Approximately 20% of cases are pediatric (open hearts, appendectomy, cholecystectomy); no liver or lung transplants,
