Job Description

Overall Purpose
 :Under semi-direct supervision during an assigned shift, handles any and all types of trouble calls on overhead or underground transmission, distribution and street lighting systems in an assigned Division.
Job Responsibilities:
Investigates faulty overhead or underground equipment, interrupted service, or other situations which may affect the continuity of service.

Diagnoses causes of trouble, locating and isolating faults in circuits, transformers, or other electrical distribution, transmission or street lighting equipment and determines the action required to restore service'.

Makes minor repairs on faulty overhead equipment, including broken wires and damaged insulators.

Isolates and makes minor repairs on faulty underground cables and equipment.

Clears or disconnects faulty equipment, performing necessary switching and cutting down of broken live wires which cannot be repaired or makes ...
