Job Summary:
The truck dispatcher under general direction is responsible for managing the driver's performance for maximum profitability while providing excellent customer service and driver satisfaction. The Driver Manager will ensure overall safety and on-time delivery of assigned freight by adhering to DOT, FMCSA, B1 visa program, and company safety and general policies.
The truck dispatcher is the liaison and informant between drivers and office staff, organizational goals, and policies. Additionally the truck dispatcher ensures that drivers achieve full and effective utilization of Samsara E-Logs, status updates, document scanning, HOS, routing, fueling preferences, border crossings, and other company solutions and guidelines.
