Truck driver

The Code 14 Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of packed Spekboom (Portulacaria afra) cuttings, plants, or saplings in crates using a vehicle as supplied by Nat Carbon. This will mostly be a 12-ton truck with a trailer. This role requiresextreme attention to detailregarding the loading, securing, and documentation of delicate plant materials to ensure minimal damage,accurate inventory tracking, and compliance with agricultural transport standards.

Key Job Requirements And Expectations Safe Handling: Ensure Spekboom crates are packed and stacked appropriately to prevent damage during transit. Loading/Offloading: Supervise or assist in the loading and unloading of crates, ensuring plants are not crushed or overstressed. Securing Load: Ensure the load is balanced and secured to prevent shifting, which could damage delicate succulent stems.
