This post, within the department of Urology, is a specialist registrar level post supporting and aiding the clinical ward work and the Out-Patient workload of the Department. There will be an opportunity to attend the Urology operating theatre sessions. A pay banding supplement is payable for participation in the on-call rota at middle grade level. The rota currently is 1 in 8. This is under review and may be subject to change.
Whilst this post has no educational approval it would suit doctors who wish to pursue a career in urology.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be expected to participate fully in the clinical work of the Department, providing high standards of care for both in-patients and outpatients.
