Job Description
As an entry‑level turner you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various turning machines in a manufacturing setting. You will work with a team of experienced turners and receive on‑the‑job training to learn the skills and techniques needed for this role.
Responsibilities
- Operate turning machines to shape cut and finish metal or plastic components
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
