Turner Machinist

We are looking for a Turner/ Machinist with the following skills and qualifications:

• Operate universal horizontal lathe, vertical lathe or horizontal boring mills

• Handle and coordinate cylinder job cards

• Assist in stripping off and assessments of repairs for quotations

• Sharpen drills by machine

• Deburr manufactured parts

• Use hand tools, grinding, and power tools for deburring

• Sand, shot, hydro, or grit blast components

• Operate grinding machines without gauges or templates

• Rethread, re-tap, reclaim nuts and bolts

• Machine hydraulic components according to drawings

• Grade 12 (Matric)/N4 or equivalent
