The purpose of this role is to use magnetic resonance and radiofrequency pulses & dynamic function imaging in accordance with statutory regulations in order to examine how the body & organs function and deliver the results to the Radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Use evidence based practice and clinical guidelines to produce high quality images for a range of imaging procedures.
• Be aware of safeguarding policies, both local and national, and implement such policies when necessary.
• Assess clinical conditions, prioritise health problems, including initiation of effective emergency care.
• Ensure that patients are prepared for their procedures and have been given all relevant information before the need for imaging.
• Manage own client caseload including the interpretation of test results with referral to physicians as necessary.
