Job Description
Autonomously performs high quality, advanced diagnostic ultrasound imaging required for tertiary care in outpatient and inpatient settings, including abdominal, vascular, abdominal vasculature, small parts, and obgyn exams. Assists in complex invasive procedures and intraoperative cases with a team approach. Requires high level analytical ability to obtain appropriate images and required measurements, exercising independent judgment in the interpretation of the sonogram to synthesize and communicate a preliminary clinical diagnosis to the physician. Identifies imaging orders for accuracy and integrates medical history, clinical data, previous studies, and patient symptoms in determining the appropriate diagnostic protocol and tailoring the exam to the needs of the patient.
