PURPOSE OF JOB: To perform Ultrasound procedures on inpatient, outpatient and emergency room patients, utilizing clinical skills, knowledge and competencies of the Ultrasound technologist position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Maintain clinical competency in the Ultrasound technologist position requirements.
2. Provide patient care for all of our customers by performing US procedures as prescribed by a physician.
3. Compile and maintain patient records and schedules
Deliver completed paperwork to the radiologist for interpretation
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. All technologists shall have one year from their hire date to pass a certifying exam. This gives each technologist several chances to pass. Until passing the registry, technologist will understand that their continued employment is probationary. If th...
